Cute lunch check-in

I'm back! And I have a few new bento supplies, too! 

Definitely the best lunch of the week, now that I've had a few days to stock the fridge. Triple-decker ham & cheese sandwich, snap peas up top, a mini colander of blueberries and grapes, fresh cherries with a cute pick, carrots and spinach dip and a few gummy bunnies in a new container.

 

Giraffe-themed lunch (though the red pick may be a cow, I noticed later). Watermelon in the back. In an extra large silicone container I have a mini croissant sandwich, snap peas and part of a homemade Oreo.

 

Boring, bland and blurry! A few cherry tomatoes, cheese in a new container and a container of applesauce are on the left, pita chips and hummus on the right.

I hadn't been to the store yet, as you can tell! Fresh from the field cantaloupe in the top container, a cut up mozzarella stick on the left, pig sandwich with sprinkle details, celery in a hard-to-see pig container, surrounded by crackers left over from our trip.

The stuff that I've bought online has mostly been from allthingsforsale.com

The other good store I've found is Marukai or Daiso, which has several stores across the country but does not sell online.

Love this! I'm planning on sending the boys to preschool with bento lunches like this, in hopes it will entice them to eat and try new stuff.

Just lurking but I wanted to say if any of you are on pinterest there are a ton of amazing bento lunches. Some of the would be easy to recreate some are hard to believe were created from food.
