Do you also do the obligatory wear-once-and-take-a-picture thing when you get a hideous outfit as a gift?

Poor Oliver!

This is the best. A green chenille outfit with orange ruffles and an embroidered horse. And the tag said they were like fifty bucks each. so awesome in its hideousness, that it's one of the few outfits I saved. (I should say, they came from a bachelor friend of ours whose sister owns a fancy kids' clothing store in NYC, so I'm assuming these were on the clearance racks!)

I should really dig out the crocheted capes my MIL did for the twins. They are rainbow-coloured/purple. She knew they were boys at the time she made them. They are a special kind of hideous.

I have something like this!  They're a loopy crocheted bolero jacket, booties and hat.  Add some sequin hotpants and it looks like something you'd see in the French Quarter for Decadence.

SIL got us some outfits on Etsy that are a very very loud pillowcase dress and a onesie with a "tie" in the same fabric.  I need to figure out pants for DS so I can take the pic because we dont' have any shorts or anything.  If it doesn't have snaps, he doesn't wear it because I am lazy.

I leave the tags on, snap a pic, and try to sell. Some wouldn't even sell at a huge consignment sale.  I couldn't freaking give them away!
