late period after birth control

Hi, I 'am new to this but I did have a question about TTC.My husband have not been trying very long (just last month) and I had stopped taking my BC pills 4 weeks ago. I was supposed to have my period 7 days ago today and I was just wondering if anyone has experienced a late or no period after stopping the pill? I'm also not sure if this is in my head or not but I swear that I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms. I have tried two tests and both negative, so I did a blood test and will know results tomorrow. Has anyone also experienced negative urine test and positive blood test?   Thanks! :)

    It's quite possible that you are just late or your cycle is still regulating after coming off of BC.

    When I stopped my BC I did not have a period for 8 weeks! Then the next month everything went to normal and I continued having regular periods until I conceived.  Good Luck!

    i stopped my BCP after my last period started... may 13th. i haven't had a period since! it's making me crazy Tongue Tied
    S/P L salpingo-oophorectomy w/ septic torsion 1999, dx moderate to severe Crohn's dz 2004. DH S/P hypospadic sx w/ multiple subsequent scar tissue removals, S/P herniorrhaphy.
