no need to be worried, it is part of your body's natural process. Have you read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"? I recommend it as a really good book to learning your bodies natural signs.
I don't think you need to be worried. You've always had dischage (we call it CM around here) but you most likely never paid much attention to it until you were TTC. If you haven't read the newbie link at the top of the page and started charted, I suggest you do.

Thanks, Ladies. I've noticed my discharge before, but I've never seen the chunks. I hope I don't have something wrong down there.
My husband and I are not wanting this to become a job, so I am not going to read any books right now. We'll just have sex around the middle of my cycle and hope for the best!!

The middle of your cycle can vary month to month since your ovulation date can fluctuate. That's why the TCOYF book was recommended. You don't have to read it necessarily to TTC but just to understand how your body works. It would even help with things like understanding your own discharge patterns during the 3 phases of the cycle.
GL on your journey!

If you just have sex during the middle of your cycle you are going to likely be in for a very long ttc journey. TTC is not a job for me, but I did read TCOYF to better understand my body at the beginning of the process.

Unless your cycle is amazing regular all the time, you may still miss your fertile window. I have a 28-32 day cycle *in general* but until I started temping I realized I was completely missing the fertile window by using the 14 day rule. I'd definitely recommend temping as I'm sure many ladies will. You can use FertilityFriend.com which is in many signatures. It takes like a minute a day and will give you peace of mind that you are really "trying to conceive" and not just hoping it'll happen each month.
Regardless, welcome and I hope your stay is S&S!

Good luck in your journey
There are plenty of people who get pregnant early with no knowledge of when they ovulate. OP, if you want to try it that way for a while more power to you. But do know there are resources if and when you need them. Good luck!
