I like it.  I've known maybe one Roger moderately well and he was a decent and friendly guy.

I don't have anything against Roger as a name.  No bad associations or anything.  It's not a name I would gravitate toward, but it's also not one that I would side-eye someone for.  On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 5.

My step-brother is named Roger, so I have really positive associations - smart (we're talking a masters from an Ivy), good looking (all my girlfriends growing up had crushes on him), happily married and now an amazing father.  It's not the most popular name in the world (which is a plus in my book), the only downside was that a lot of children have a hard time pronouncing their R's.  I know that I did - and for a couple years, it was more like W-oger to me.
