So this is my 2nd round of femara and looks like I may be going to a 3rd.  I have been spotting for the past 4 days.  It has been mostly brown discharge but today it seems to have a little bit of red blood.  I am pretty sure AF is going to show up.  I am just so bummed.  I was crying last night and this morning because I really thought this time I would get a BFP.  I didn't have any cysts at my u/s and I used OPK test and was pretty sure my timing was right.  My husband acts like its no big deal and it will work out when its suppose to but I am so sad!!  Sorry just wanted to vent... Has anyone every taking Femara and had it lighten your period?   Just curious when I should start as day 1 again.  I have never had spotting this long.

CD 1 is first day of RED flow. Meaning you need a tampon/pad. 

Also, you mentioned you think your timing was pretty good. Are you being monitored? Because if you are, then there shouldn't be much guess work. Have you asked your RE about a trigger? If you aren't with a RE, I'd suggest it since they are fertility experts. And OPK's are many times wrong while undergoing fertility meds since messing with your hormones can make your body do strange things.

And out of curiousity, how long have you been ttc and such? If you're pursing IF treatments, you might get better answers on the TTTC board.
