I am having a hard time finding swim diapers for my DD. She is tiny (only 11 lbs) and in size 1 diapers. All swim diapers I can find online or in the stores are size 3 at the smallest. Any suggestions? Can regular diapers be used?
I think they make cloth diapers specifically for swimming. That might be an option for you to look at, they might come in smaller sizes. The smallest disposable ones I've seen are 16+ pounds.

I used Huggies Lil Swimmers in their smallest size (3) when DD was 12 lbs. They were fine! I wouldn't recommend a regular diaper b/c it'll be a swollen mess!
I had gotten an email from Baby Half Off about a sale for cloth swim diapers so I bought one fore DD because she too is small. For the most part she will just be in regular diapers at the beach, but if I take in the pool in the back yard then I need a swim diaper for her
I would not take LO in the water with a regualr diaper unless you want to see what a diaper looks like when it is 4 times the regular size.

I've used this one on my DS since 12 lbs and it has worked great!
