Cloth Diapering

STTN and tummy sleeping=leaking over the top? xp 3-6

Mollusk is a tummy sleeper and has made it two nights now without waking (knocking on wood like a crazy person) the problem is she wakes up and her tshirt or onesie is wet.

We use the BG 4.0s would you flip the insert so the snap on double  part is at her tummy for night time, or just add another insert? IF you have a similar issue what have you done.

TIA, this is kind of a post and run because we have to run some errands but I'll be back later if there are questions.

  • Once DD started sleeping though the night pockets no longer worked because in order to stuff them enough they just didn't fit.  Fitteds work great for overnights since the whole diaper is absorbant.

This. Until dd was about a year, we couldn't get pockets to fit right at night with the absorbency that we needed. You can try the bg insert with hemp and if that doesn't work, I would get a few overnight fitteds.

  • Definitely try a hemp insert.
  • I agree with PP if hemp doesn't work you may change your night time diapering.  I no longer use pockets for this exact reason and have been using fitteds and wool for quite some time now.

  • Thanks ladies. I'll give the hemp a try and if it doesn't work I'll try fitted for nighttime. We are loving the BGs for daytime they were great at night 'til she started to STTN.

    Thanks again.
