A boy and a girl!!!  Owen Chester and Eleanor (Ella) June will be gracing us with their presence some time in November.  Had our EPIC scan on Friday and everybody is doing just fine, right on track with where they should be.  In fact, my MFM said he doesn't want to see me again unless my regular docs refer me to him for something!

Yes, we had names picked out before we went into the scan.  We really didn't want to open ourselves up to endless opinions from our family.  Plus, I liked seeing them on the screen and saying hi to them with their names.  (Cheesy, I know!)  Now I am preparing myself for the onslaught of "Oh good, one of each, now you're all done!" comments. 

Knowing who they are has bumped up my excitement even more, so I just had to share!!!

and I sort of love that someone shares my feelings about calling the babies by names. i don't think it's cheesy. i get choked up at every scan when I see Quinn and Lydia! finding out gender also took my excitement up 10 fold at least. before knowing i just felt pregnant, not that i know WHO they are and their names, I feel more connected to them.

Congratulations!  We had our scan on Friday and we are also having a boy and a girl (right around the same time you are)! 

I wish we had our names already picked but I think that is going to be a loooong road for us to make that decision!
