nighttime leaks...

Sigh...DS has leaked through his Kawaii Goodnight Heavy Wetters the past two nights. Combine that with the four month wakeful, where he is waking up to eat again in the middle of the night,and  I end up being up for over an hour. Maybe I will strip them, but if that doesn't work, what other night solutions would you recommend? For what it's worth, DS is BIG for his age - he's 19 pounds and tall and drinks a lot!

I use a BG microfiber with an AFFF tri-folded under it. It has only leaked once (and it had a LOT of pee in it) around the leg gussets. Really any kind of hemp/microfiber combination will be more absorbent. Are you using 2 of the Kawaii inserts?

My LO was leaking during naps and I used two inserts and found that solved my problem. I still use a disposable at night until my hemp inserts arrive. I was also going to ask if your using one or two inserts at night. If your only using one try two and see if that works.

LO goes through both inserts of a Kawaii overnight diaper in 4-5 hrs at night. We just started using a monkey snuggles night-time fitted diaper and she wets through that, but it doesn't leak so long as she's wearing a cover. I tried my new wool cover, but it was clearly not lanolized enough by the maker (it smells like urine after one wearing). So, we've just been using a thirsties cover and it works well for the time being.

She makes hemp inserts that everyone loves. I've never tried them.
