Ugh (TFAS-related vent)

I wish I had just stayed home today.  

I was already feeling kind of "ugh" about running errands because I had to go to Babies R Us to buy a gift for a friend (and yesterday I started cycle #6).  But I thought my other errand might be fun--my mom & I took DD to have portraits taken.

So, it ends up that the photographer's assistant has a DD the same age as mine.  She's also pregnant (looked like early 2nd tri).  Wonderful.  It sucks to come across someone in the exact situation I want to be in at such a crummy point in my cycle, but that's life, and definitely wouldn't ruin my day or anything.

However, the photographer kept making comments about how we should have another kid, give DD a sibling, have another grandchild for my mom...and on, and on...

Seriously?  Ugh, I could only laugh it off politely so many times and after that I just didn't say anything.  That sort of thing doesn't usually bother me, but the timing just sucks.

Sigh, vent over.

That sucks! I've been through a similar situation and sometimes you just want to tell people STFU!

Yeah it does suck...

This is cycle 28 for us and I am still getting the "your son needs a playmate" and "don't you want to have more so your son isn't lonely".

Makes me want to punch someone sometimes

Amen... I got that the other day from some chick I've never met but is in a summer graduate class  with my husband, she was like "soooo how many are you having?" "Aren't you going to have at least one more soon?"

I was about to let her have it and my DH hurriedly replied, "trust me it's not for lack of having fun anything."

I'll try, I might have to post them then take them down---I don't know what the rules are when they're copy-righted, don't use without permission, etc.

Although, I could always ask him if it's okay for me to post them on a message board called Trying To Get Pregnant.  LOL
