Timed Intercourse?

This is my first clomid/ovidrel cycle and we are doing timed intercourse.  The ultrasound I had this morning showed 2 follicles on my left side (17 and 19).  The Dr. called and I am to do the ovidrel injection tonight and then do intercourse tomorrow and the day after.  However, I previously was told I would have intercourse the day I trigger and the 2 days following. I'm waiting for a call back to clarify.

Anyone ever do timed intercourse?  What days did you do it?

YOu should try and contact NOLA8446 she just got a BFP and she did timed intercourse with meds. She might be a good go to person.

I'm doing clomid+ovidrel+TI this cycle too. I was told to BD for 3 nights straight, the night of the trigger and the 2 nights following. I hope you get a call back soon. (And good luck!)

I am also doing clomid/ovidrel. I am triggering tonight and was told to BD tomorrow and Monday.

We've been doing TI cycles too and we have always be given similar instructions to yours.  Trigger then intercourse 24 and 48 hours (roughly) after.

Well, for an IUI cycle.  They have you have sex the night of the trigger, then 36 hours after trigger you have the IUI and about 48 hours after trigger you have sex again.  So If you have no known MFI issues ...I'd do as PP said and have sex for the next three nights. If you have MFI issues I'd have sex tonight and Monday (am is possible)

We BD 4 nights in a row with our HCG and TI. The doctor always wanted me to BD the night before my follie checks, and when I triggered in office she told us to BD tonight and the next following few nights.

I hope you don't mind if I reply. 

I did 3 cycles of TI and my last one got me KU. I am not sure that I am a textbook case though. I had a u/s on Tuesday and my follicle wasn't quite ready.*So they said.* I was told that if I wanted IUI we'd trigger on Wednesday night and do IUI Friday morning. Well, we opted for TI and I'm so glad. I triggered on Wednesday morning b/c my temp spiked and I think I had already ovulated despite the fact I hadn't taken the trigger yet. So we had TI before I went to work and I took the shot once I got to work, just in case my temp spike was a fluke. We had TI that night as well. We also did TI the following day. I am pretty sure the morning TI on Wednesday is what did it.

There is a chart somewhere that shows your odds of conceiving with TI right before o, during o and after o and the odds are greater if you do it right before o according to this chart. So, if I were you, I would TI the night of trigger and the following two days afterward. Especially if YH doesn't have any known sperm issues.

Thanks ladies! According to the Dr. covering for my RE this weekend, I was to trigger last night and then BD today and tomorrow.  Because MH was going away for today/tonight to visit a friend, we BD this morning and will again tomorrow.
