WWYD re: dd screaming for more food after breakfast

DD will be 2 in Jan, and is atleast 30lbs.  Not overweight, 90th for height and weight, so proportioned, but solid.  She just ate breakfast, yogurt and a cereal bar.  She usually gets a waffle, pancakes, or french toast sticks, but she wanted a cereal bar today.  She ate an hour ago.  She is now screaming for more cereal...is it wrong  to givein and give her more?  She gets an a.m. snack as well around 9:30.  Could she really be hungry or just wanting her way?  Thanks

  • I'd give her a little something. A cereal bar probably didn't fill her up as much as waffles or the likes would have.
  • Maybe I just don't see what the issue is, but if she wants something else to eat, give it to her.

My 2 year old eats throughout the day.  Mostly healthy stuff too.  They have tiny stomachs, so I try to remember that.

  • I have no clue. P rarely asks for more food and does not ever have a preference to what he wants (maybe just because he doesn't really get a choice). The only thing he has ever asked for are cookies or juice...lol.
  • Thanks! She wanted the breakfast b ar since the boy I was watching came with one. It must not have filled her up enough.
