Milk protien allergy and prevacid

I read that prevacid has dairy in it, would this have any effect on a milk protein allergy? DD is only 8 weeks old, so I am very new to all of this!! TIA =)

    It shouldn't.  My daughter started on zantac and it didn't do anything so we switched to prevacid when she was around 12 weeks old.  She has a milk allergy as well and the prevacid was a miracle worker.  Good luck!

    My daughter has a severe dairy allergy and was on prevacid for 3 months with no issues. I wasn't aware it contained dairy. I need to go look that up!
