You'd think after three years, clothes shopping would be old hat, but I'm really looking forward to our first official school shopping! Plus, there have been a lot of good sales lately on summer things that will carry DD1 through the change of seasons.
How many outfits/pants/shirts/etc. will you aim for? Will you buy a bunch of stuff at once, or pick things up over time? Will it be mostly play/casual stuff, or some nicer things? Any back-to-school-shopping tips/strategies? Where do you like to shop?
I'm not great at estimating DD1's clothing needs. We tend to buy lightly at the start of a season, but then we end up doing more shopping b/c DD1 doesn't have enough of one thing or another. I want to take advantage of the back-to-school sales and pick up more up-front this time around.
DD1 likes wearing skirts and dresses, so we'll get some of those along with pants and shirts. And I think we'll get an extra pair of casual non-sneaker shoes; she tends to wear her sneakers pretty hard, so it'll be good to have something to rotate them with more often.
I try to shop the sales at Hanna Andersson and Gap, and hit up ON for jeans, undies, and cheap basics. And I think I'll also pick up some things through zulily, since I have a long time before we'll need it.

I'm excited about getting items from his school supply list. I haven't yet gotten in the mood for back to school clothes shopping---but I am sure that I will! :-))
I like Gap, The Children's Place, and Old Navy.
