My 2 year old is obsessed with my camera... unfortunately, I spent waayyyy too much money on it to let her run around and take pictures/destroy it.
There's a lot of toddler safe cameras out there, but does anyone have one they would recommend? or one they would not? I want one that will actually take pictures and is easy to operate.

Re: Toddler camera
I bought this for a girlfriend's daughter. I actually takes and stores pictures. I has a zoom and editing software. It is $40.00. It was an awesome gift. She loves it and still uses it going on 7 months go.

Each of our 2 DDs have this:

AWESOME camera! They got them when they were 4 and 6 years and play with them all the time. There is really neat editing stuff you can do ON the camera, there are video games and it takes OK pix (no kids' camera is going to take great pix!). Is virtually indestructable- our 5 year old has dropped it LOTS! Comes with software and USB cable for down-loading.
I got ours both from V-Tech's website. Make sure you do the "plus" camera because there is a regular Kidizoom that has no where near as much internal memory. And I did my research on cameras- LOTS- before buying. There were many people who bought that Fisher Price one and then got the V-Tech one because they weren't happy with the FP one. They were MUCH more satisfied with the Kidizoom Plus. I give it 4 starts!
ETA: It also takes video.
HTH!
Our Angel Boy- m/c in 2007 @ 9wks due to Trisomy 17
I'm pretty sure it's a standard camera USB? Not too sure on specifics, but I did take a pic!
picture is good for me lol
we have a lot of those cords laying around (DH does IT) thank you!
