Trying to Get Pregnant

? Question of the Day! ?

I am now in the mood for a vacation! Those pics and ideas yesterday were awesome!

Today is Saturday and we're halfway through the weekend! Simple question for today!

If you could be any kind of tree, what would you be? Why?

I would be an Oak. Tall, strong, with branches to reach over everyone. A pillar of support I guess :)
I always thought Oak trees were beautiful.

    Happy Saturday!

If you could be any kind of tree, what would you be? Why?

I would probably be a willow tree. I remember when I was a kid, spending hours, swinging from the branches and hiding under them. I guess I would want to bring that kind of happiness to other kids! :)

    Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

  • I'd be a redwood tree... as long as DH was one too.  They're tall, strong, and can live for a very long time... I'd love to be by his side for hundreds of years.

The first time I was ever in a redwood grove I felt like I was in a cathedral:  the trees stretching so high above me, the light filtering through the canopy, it felt like I was in the house of God. :)  They inspire me, and I would love to inspire others.

Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

If you could be any kind of tree, what would you be? Why?

I would be a blue spruce.  We had two 100-ish year old blue spruce trees in the yard of my childhood home and I loved those trees.  They were so tall compared to the other trees, and excellent for climbing.

Side note: this questions TOTALLY reminds me of Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree"  I love that book.

    Happy weekend!!

  • I would be a pinon tree. I've liked them every since I won a poetry contest about trees and I was given a pinon tree and money as a prize. So I planted it and got to watch it grow as I grew up. They also gave every student in my school a small pinon tree.

Not really a tree, but I would be a rose bush. Sweet and pretty looking, but be careful when you touch, cause I can be "prickley" sometimes.

  • I think I would be a cedar tree!  Even if I got "cut down" I could be made into a hope chest (now I'm all Giving Tree like PP).

    Fun q! :)
