Ok - so I am totally ticked off at myself because today I really needed to temp at the same time as always, and of course it was the morning that I couldn't wake up. I normally wake up at 6:00 to temp, and I woke up and temped at 7:45. CRUD. I put it in my chart anyway - but should I have it disregard today's temp? Should I leave it? It has a white circle on the temp - what does that mean???
I am most mad because I am really trying to pinpoint my ovulation, and go figure, today and tomorrow would be the day that it would happen.
So was I safe to temp even though it was an hour and a half later than usual? Does FF do that automatically for me (decide if the time is appropriate or not? I mean - I was sleeping the whole night before waking and temping...)? I have been charting for a long time - but not when we were really trying like crazy, and I seem to be ovulating later than I ever have before, and I am thinking it is because I dropped a bunch of weight and it is effecting everything. Ugh. I don't know - I am just mad at myself and trying to understand if me temping later is an issue or not... I am worried that it may be... ![]()
Thanks for your help!!!
Re: Chart Question...
Just speaking from my own personal experience, an almost 2 hour difference would make a HUGE difference for me. So I would have to discard it. I temp at 5 am. If I have a 30 minute difference, it tends to not matter. Even an hour difference and I can usually keep the temp even though it is a little higher. More than that, and it is usually way higher than usual.
If I were you I would just pay a lot more attention to CM. It will usually help you figure things out.
I am really terrible at the differences in CM - but I am pretty sure this morning that I am Creamy? It is a little sticky and white - and it really doesn't stretch and it seems like maybe my "insides" have lowered.... (I know - not really technical, but it works enough)
I am just beyond mad at myself at the whole situation. ugh
I would not discard the temp. The open circle means that FF knows you didn't temp at your normal time. FF knows not to put as much weight on temps with open circles when pinpointing your O.
