spitting up

Wow do i feel like i'm the only one in the world that has not one but two babies that constantly spit up???? None of my friends kids spit up and they look at me as if I have a disease when it happens....it is getting quiet annoying n ow....being that there 6 mos  you would think it would get better by now but it's not...you would think it would get better even though there eating 3 solid meals a day but it's NOT!!! It's so frustrating to have to change them constantly and constantly have a bib on them.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in formula between Similac and Enfamil? THey are currently on Enfamil gentlease b/c it seems to be the best we have tried and we have tried everything but Similac brand...we tried AR, Infant. what gives??? there also taking zantac twice a day. I'm soooooo frustrated. It's so embaressing especially when going to our friends or families house b/c everytime someone holds them they spit up all over themselves and all over our friends/family. Just disgusting. There sitting up and moving around so much that it only makes it worse...it's hard to keep them still but even when still, even 3 hours later...still spitting up!!!! Please tell me Im not alone here.

    I feel your pain.  I've got barfers.  It's a lot better now at 7.5 months but at 6 months I was where you are, wondering when it would stop.  Once they got really good at sitting up, it got so much better.  Yes, there are days that I feel like all I do is mop up puke, and last Saturday, when we gave them yogurt for the first time, we all ended up smelling like sour milk, but it's a lot better than it was. 

    We're doing regular Enfamil.  I think the uptick in barf as of late can be attributed to transitioning to Target brand formula but maybe not.  We tried Gentlease for DD but it went through her so quickly she wanted to eat every 2 hours at 8 weeks old and Mama was not down with that.

    Thank you for your response...uuugghh it's like all I do is want to get to the next month b.c i hope it will get better. I can't even enjoy all of the playtime b.c i'm constantly having to change outfits or put new blankets on the floor...just gross.

    I haven't tried yogurt yet...lol i've been holding off ...lol
