Things I am looking forward to

H and I are finished with baby making. Now that Sam is rapidly approaching his 1st birthday we've already put away (forever) some things like the exersaucer, the swing, etc. And while the whole process is bittersweet there are 3 things I am really looking forward to. They are inconsequential and somewhat stupid, still I look forward to them.

1. Wearing necklaces again. I've not worn a necklace since K started grabbing them at a few months old.

2. Wearing perfume. I read somewhere once that nursing babies sometimes struggle with their moms wearing perfume. I have no idea if it's true but I stopped wearing it 3 years ago when pregnant with K because of the whole sensitive to smells while pregnant thing and never returned to it because of that article. So once Sam is weaned I will go back.

3. Wearing real bras rather than these gigantic, cotton, matronly nursing bras.  And my nursing bras are shot, man. After nursing two kids these bras are nasty but I have so little nursing time left I can't justify the expense of new ones. But man oh man I can't wait to go buy some pretty, frilly bras once again.

No, for real. I love my jewelery and I miss not being able to wear ANYTHING. Perfume...meh, I still wear it. I'll be doing a little jig when I can wear normal boulder holders again

Yay Moesten.  Things to look forward to.  I still do not wear much jewelry because DD still wants to rip it off of me.
