TTC after Mirena

I just had my IUD removed on Monday, I had some slight bleeding and mild cramping from the procedure and that was it.. 

Thursday, I woke up and i had spotting but the day before I didnt, so I decided to put in a tampon to be on the safe side and OMG thank god I did I was bleeding like a stuck pig!!  No pain or any thing but RED blood like a period... 6 Super tampons in a day that's not normal for me.  Today its less blood.. more like left overs of old blood

 Did i get my period or am I bleeding from Monday with out any bleeding in the past 4 days?

I got my period soon after my Mirena removal. I was bleeding more heavily that I have ever experienced before. I have had three periods since and they are more like they used to be now.

I had nothing when it was removed and then started bleeding a few days later.  Mine wasn't heavy, but I think that's probably less common.  

I have no idea if your first one is an actual period or not, but from here on out your body should get back into the swing of things.  I started charting once I bled and have had pretty normal cycles since then.

I had my Mirena removed in March. I had light bleeding for a few days (I actually had it removed on CD1 - yes, I had a light period the whole time I was on Mirena) then nothing. In April I bled like mad. I am talking hemorrhaging type bleeding for two days straight. May was also as bad. This month I had a fairly heavy period but not nearly as bad as the last two. My cycle has pretty much been the same as when I was on Mirena.

I had relatively little bledding after mine was removed on 5/2 and then had a 20 day cycle that was annovulatory. The second cycle (last one) was 28 days, O on day 18, 10 day LP. I am just finishing AF on my third post-Mirena cycle and am on day 6 with a little spotting. This AF was most definitely heavier than my last. I would count the first day of bleeding as CD1 and just go from there. You're welcome to take a peak at my chart to see what mine were looking like.
