What would you do?

Myself and the babe are going away for the weekend- Saturday morning through Monday afternoon. I will be bringing my CD's and have access to and plan to wash diapers once while I'm gone. I did CD laundry tonight but there will be about 4-6 dirties by the time we leave tomorrow. Would you leave them home in the pail or take them with you so you could wash them with the rest of your CD's?

If you don't have time to wash them tomorrow morning I'd probably bring them and then maybe you could plan to use them on the trip after they're washed and remove some from the clean stash you're bringing.

I actually am on like the same trip.  I am housesitting (more dogsitting) for my parents this weekend.  I left at noon today and won't be back home until Sunday sometime.

Since it was only a 2 hour drive... I washed the 5 dirty diapers and then put them in a clean wet bag.  I dried them when I got here.  I don't know what kind of access you have.  But, this was my easiest choice.  I would have brought them with dirty if I didn't get a chance to put them in the washer.

I have a brutal day tomorrow and won't have time to wash before I leave so I'll just bring them. I'm driving 4 hrs to central NY to my in-laws to stop for a couple hours to visit and let them see DD before continuing on for another hour drive to my cousins graduation where my grandma will be. Since she's elderly and only comes up to NY for big occassions this could be one of the few/only times she meets and sees her great-granddaughter. After the party I'll be driving 2 hours back to my parents house to stay for a couple nights and visit with my sister, who is home from CA for the first time in 8 months, before heading back on Monday. Yeah, tomorrow's not going to be fun....

whenever i go out of town like that, even if it's just for the weekend, i always wash all my dirties the night before, then bring any dirties w/me and wash the whole load the night before we come home.

I would either bring them with to wash over the weekend or do like the PP and wash them and dry when you arrive. I would not want to come home to dirty diapers, not to mention if they sit for too long they will stain.

I would wash all except the one OTB the night / morning before you leave.  But I am weird / compulsive like that.
