Oh FFS. The government should be able to veto some names, for the sake of the kid. They get a letter saying, "Im sorry, but the name 'Alaska' is not a proper name. Please choose another. Thank you."

I think I read somewhere that some European country has a list of approved names people can name their child. I think our country would benefit from this... but it does go against our Constitution and all... too bad.

What about an American baby named Ireland?  I've seen that, too, and it just boggles me.
