Paraguard

Anyone used the paraguard IUD? Did you like it? Any side effects? My body does not react well to the pill so I am having the Paraguard put in in a few weeks. My Dr uses it and said she loves it because of it's lack of hormones but I don't know anyone else!

    I, too, am going with Paragard, but this will be my first time using it.  My doctor recommended it over all others because of how my body reacts to hormonal BC.  Looking forward to reading the responses to this thread!  Good or bad - Lets hear it!!

    This is my first month on it.... but so far so good. My first period was very very heavy and I had bad cramps... but I've been told that it gets better after a few months.
