Pull on jeans?

Hi!

I am just starting to think about school clothes for my 3 year olds to start preschool in the fall, and wondered if anyone has been able to find any pull on jeans? They can't manipulate a snap/zipper, but I would love to be able to have at least one pair of jeans for them. I know the school said to be careful of what clothing they have on as they won't be able to help them with stuff like that. I have never seen any, does anyone have any suggestions of where to buy these? Thanks in advance!

Re: Pull on jeans?

  • I buy the jeans with the elastic and buttons inside (Gymboree, Old Navy both tend to have these, sometimes Target).  They tend to have enough stretch that DD can get them on and off without unbuttoning.

  • Target - Circo brand and Children's Place all have elastic waist pants, even in big boy sizes.

  • We use regular jeans (usually Old Navy because they're cheap and have adjustable waist bands inside).

They never have a problem getting them up and down without doing the buttons and zipper.

Try a pair of regular jeans.  You may be surprised.

  • i just got some on clearance at Crazy 8 - so they'll likely have more for this fall in the next month or so.
I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

  • If you want to get really cheap ones, KMart's Wonderkids brand has elastic waist jeans.  You can sometimes get them for $3.  I think Okie Dokie at JCP also has elastic waist.
  • We buy the ON jeans, too, and DD1 usually wiggles in and out of them without undoing the snap/zipper.

  • Thanks for all of your suggestions! I just ordered my little guy a pair from Crazy 8-they are just what I was looking for. I am also going to check out JcPenneys for the okie dokie ones for both of them. Thanks again!!
