DD had Lyme when she was 3.  They caught it early like with your DS.  She's almost 11 now and has never had any issues aside from the initial rash

I had Lyme disease a couple of years ago. I caught it early, took the antibiotics, and have no problems since. I had to be sure to take the drugs on a full stomach (but without any dairy at all for a set period of time before and after, whichwas really hard). I skipped the food one time and spent the next hour bent over the toilet. Not fun!
