A friend of mine just named his daughter this popular Polish name.The "k" and "c" make different sounds in Polish so he's not trying to be unique by spelling it like this. What' does everyone think of it? Like it/hate it/ don't care for it? Here's more info:

I like it... I think I would have to add it to my list of next possible girls names, but my DS is named Dominic and that might be a little too much (even for me!)

...now, if DS had been a twinset of a b/g pair... I might've just used it! hehehehe

Hehe, I said "Do-MIN-i-ka" first, like the Dominican Republic. I think it's all right, but I hope she has some connection to Poland or the Polish language or people. I find it strange when people pick foreign sounding names that they have no connection to; it just seems pretentious to me.
