DH is so confident....but a little clueless!

So this was our conversation at 7am when I was leaving for work. " we should have sex tonight, aren't you ovulating?" " er no, I ovulated 8 days ago... But we can have sex anyway:) " " oh well I know we got our timing perfect and my swimmers were raring to go. did you take a test yet" " no it's really to early to tell" " say who" "pretty much everyone" " well they obviously haven't met my swimmers yet cos they are fast!" isn't it so nice to be completely clueless and have such faith in your "swimmers" I tried to explain at 8 dpo it's so impossible to get a bfp but might end up testing just to appease DH. Anyone else has a DH who says the funniest things. Let's hear our stories ladies

LOL mine said something like that too. "When's the next time we need to have sex?" I said, "Whenever" and he said "No, I mean to make a baby?" and "You aren't keeping any?" (after I got up immediately after sex...I usually lay down for about 15 mins then go pee. This was past my fertile time so I didn't bother) ...it's cute that they get excited.

It is totally cute that they get so excited.  Right after sex I will clean myself up a little with a tissue before lying back down and he always used to say "don't let them all out".  But once i explained to him about the smart ones and the dumb ones, he doesn't say it anymore.  He said we don't want the dumb ones anyway... He is correct.

Aww DHs are so cute sometimes!! I went to the bathroom after BD the other day and the DH was like... "and you wonder why you aren't pregnant... you are letting them all out!"

My man is the opposite. He's a computer nerd smarty pants and after I explained the implantation thing to him he keeps telling me it's too early to test. He'll get statistics that show that only 12% of pregnancies show a positive urine test at 11DPO (I made that up just now) and he'll say we should wait until we're more sure the test will be accurate!
