This is the first cycle I am controlling the controllables: temping, charting, opk's....and I wanted to learn more about when you drink green tea and pom juice. I appreciate your insight!
You're supposed to drink the POM till you O and it supposedly helps thicken your lining for better implantation, I drink it straight because I like the taste but if you don't like the taste just mix it with some sprite. Make sure to buy the 100% POM juice and not a mixed one. Not sure about the green tea stuff because I don't do that but it's supposed to increase your CM.
Pom really is a giant money pit; don't waste your time. There is no scientific evidence it works, AND the research has been done--which to me says there's scientific evidence that it is useless.
Green tea is a bit more reasonable; I do drink it, because it seems like it might be helping with the CM, its cheap, and I drink tea every morning anyway. If I wasn't a regular tea-drinker, though, I might skip it too. The research is inconclusive.

I agree with sekura, especially about the Pom.
I also wanted to add that I suspect the green tea thing works for some primarily because it causes people to increase their daily liquid intake. Personally, I just try to drink a lot of water (8-10 eight-ounce glasses per day), which we should all be doing anyway.
I drink both of these on occasion because I like them, but no more than I did before we started TTC.
*** Trigger Warnings ***
TTC #1 since March 2011
Dx = Unexplained IF 1 medicated TI cycle & 4 clomid IUIs = all BFNs
June 2013 IVF #1 = 6 frosties + BFP! DS1 born 2/14
TTC #2 since December 2014 May 2015 unassisted BFP ended in m/c at 7wks April 2016 FET #1 = BFN June 2016 FET #2 = c/p August 2016 FET #3 = BFP! DS2 born 4/17
I drank green tea CD1 - O this cycle (about 2 cups a day) because I gave up coffee* and I liked having a little bit of caffeine. I noticed a HUGE difference in CM - seemed like I was positively gushing most days and I had more EWCM than I have ever seen before. However, I know it doesn't work for some people. Green tea is also supposed to help with fertility because it is full of antioxidants and some doctors believe that this helps your body be more accepting of a fertilized egg (because it isn't trying to fight off a bunch of other germs/bacteria). I don't know about that - just what Dr. Google tells me.
*I gave up coffee not because of the caffeine but because it makes your body more acidic and my husband is obsessed with having a boy (no flaming please) and convinced me that giving up coffee would help. Whatever.

Please correct me anyone if I'm wrong

INcidentally, did you know that POM makes green tea with pomegranate juice in it? I think its cheaper than the straight juice.

I don't do the POM thing, so no advice there.
