Future Nursery PIP

Anyone have plans... or already have a nursery set up?  PIP them!

The first pic below was our inspiration and the second picture is the future nursery.  We just painted it a few months ago.. We're still trying to find the perfect ceiling light.  It's currently our guest room..  I keep hoping that'll change soon.

I like the shade of blue that you used for your guest room.

I haven't really thought that far ahead yet, but I do love bumble bees, so maybe something with that kind of theme would be nice for future baby's nursery.

I love it!! I have a "library" (3Bdrm place with 2 tiny bedrooms, hubby and I each have one to ourselves at the moment) and I went for that color but a little lighter when painting. I learned that I suck at having an eye for color, because both times (yes, I made us repaint it) the color was too blue, not enough of that grey-green mixed in there. Oh well, with a wall of bookshelves it looks nice. That will become our baby room..hopefully soon!..so I'm loving the inspiration!

This is typically "cart before the horse" for me too, but we were remodeling so obviously we didn't want to redo or repaint the room 1-2 years from now.  Plus, we've been talking about the idea of becoming foster parents, so we wanted a color versatile enough for a baby or child.

our guest bedroom (FN) has a daybed...so DS will probably get it in his room, if we can't fit the crib in the room (small room)

I try not to think that far 'cart before the horse' but I know I want a jungle theme for a boy and a horse theme for a girl. My Dh keeps saying he wants to paint the future nursery room soon (it's white right now) so I might be forced to look at nursery stuff sooner than I'd like so I can pick a neutral color.

For a wedding gift my aunt gave me a photo called "sweet charity" charity is my first name. I love the picture and if we were to have a little girl I would do a vintage themed nursery around the picture.

I love the older eclectic style as well, and I love vintage things so I will most likely try and go that route.

I like your colors... my guest room will be the nursery if we still live here when we have a child..but we can't paint so the walls will be white. I like zoo animal themes though.

I LOVE this one...

If we do decide to find out gender, I want something very girly for a little girl but shabby chic - I still have a lot of shabby chic things from my 'bachelorette' pad before I got married. If it's a boy, I'd like something a little different but not too theme-y - for a boy I like the colors of a dark royal, kelly green, and pale blue.
