my stupid assistant NBR

This morning I told my assistant that I am not feeling so great and was going to leave early. Well he decides that he is leaving to go the other house that I manage and he is not coming back. (We have residents who were coming home and need medication so one of us needs to be here) His reason for staying at the other house is "someone is dropping something off and I need to be there." "well, what are they dropping off?" "Papers" DH says he is not a prick. I disagree. WDYT?

    I think he's your assistant so you should tell him to have the person dropping off papers to do it at the property someone needs to be at. Then go home sick. It sounds like he's being a bit of a tool though.

    If you are his supervisor, you should be able to tell him to get his butt back where it belongs.
