here's a confusing cycle for you....(iud)

I havent been on here in years, but I loved you ladies back then! I have 2 girls already (3.5 and 2) and an IUD to prevent another for at least 2 years. I've had the IUD for almost a year. Here's the issue... I'm due today. I'm bloated and crampy, but no red. Some brown discharge. I feel extremely nauseated, and my breasts are sore beyond normal and I feel like I am having a let-downs like when I was nursing.  My temps are high. I took a test yesterday (neg frer) and this am (neg) because I've had this feeling in my breasts for a few days. I'm exhausted, and starving....

I guess my question is this... has anyone had experiences like this with an IUD? Not to start the great debate about it, but I'm a little concerned that I could be pg with the iud... or, since I am insanely sensitive to pg hormones (to the point where I KNEW I was pg with dd #2 even prior to a blood test picking it up, and had signs only a week after conception with dd #1) I could be feeling a pregnancy that may not stick because of the IUD.......

Never had an IUD personally. However all those symptoms could also be signs that AF is on the way, especially with the brown spotting. And your temps might not drop until CD1, they don't always drop before then. Good luck and I hope you get the outcome you want!

I had Mirena, but never had a period with it in because I was BFing DS still. I'd keep testing, and if the feeling doesn't pass maybe check in with your doc and see if they can help you out. Getting pregnant with the IUD in was a big fear of mine because of all the complications. GL to you!
