Trying to Get Pregnant

Pre-O cramping Q

So I know we get cramps for impeding ovulation and can have cramps anywhere after ovulation through our periods. Now I'm not expecting ovulation for another 8 days or so. But since af for the past few I've been having some painful cramping in my extreme lower abdomen. Too low for gas cramps and too centered for ovulation cramps. I've never had anything like this.

Has anyone experienced cramping like this before O?

TIA! :)

Re: Pre-O cramping Q

  • Your large intestine goes behind your female organs so there's not really a "too low" for intestinal  (gas) pain.  In women they're really hard to differentiate between and that's why when women come in for "lower abdominal pain" they get an abominal exam as well as a pelvic exam.

I know that doesnt answer much but it still could be just bowel issues.

I will have lower abdominal pain/cramping occasionally throughout my cycle.  I've stopped trying to attribute it to anything; it just happens.  Maybe I've eaten too many beans or spinach the night before; who knows.  Not worth getting worked up about.
