Hawaii Babies

May I join you?

Hi ladies! I have been lurking for a few months now, as I am now 13w+4d pg! I got married in HI last June, and the Hawaii board helped me through - I only hung out on the HI knot board! My own local board is totally flatlining, and I feel much closer to you guys anyway! Can I join the party?

  • Thank you, ladies!  I am not sure how to reply to all, so i just picked one and replied...is it me, or is this a little bit different than the knot?

anywho, my name is Lindsay and I am from Kansas City originally. I got married in Hawaii and I live in Tokyo with my husband, Kaata.  I came to Tokyo performing with Tokyo Disneyland (I worked for Disney (WDW, DL & TDL) for about 7 years) - and met him at a friend's party.  Currently, I am an actor here and he is a producer - now that the little one is on the way, we know it is time to be in the U.S. for a bit.  I am trying to convince him that HI is the best place for us, but I think it will end up being LA, where both of us can more realistically keep working.  Regardless, Japan is not the safest place to be at the moment and it is very frustrating being pregnant and screening every glass of water/fruit/veggie, etc. for radiation...not to mention the aftershocks that are just a constant reminder of the tragedy in March.  I just need a break and it's not fair to LO.

Thank you all for the sweet comments about our engagement story! It was so special.

Really glad to be on this board - and out of the closet! :)
