DH has his SA today *Update*

in Trying to Get Pregnant

DH is going in for his SA today after a little debate about it. He had blood work done in October and his doctor said all was normal so he thinks the two mean the same thing. Silly DH. So after a LONG discussion and explanation DH made the calls and got the right paperwork and scheduled it all on his own. So proud of him.

Hope all is normal!

And for those ladies whose DH has had one, what is the usual turn around time for results? TIA!

So DH went in and the girl he had spoken to was wrong, he couldn't do the test there so they gave him his cup and he will do it in the morning and drop it off tomorrow am. They told him it takes 1-2days.

    Good luck Mr.Rvn!  I hope that it comes back all normal!  MH has not had one so I can't help there, but I hope you get the results fast!  Smile

    We got the results the same day MH dropped his off. But I'm sure every office is different. Hopefully you won't need to wait too long!

    Good luck with everything!!  Can't help with your question, DH hasn't had a SA yet.

    Good luck to your DH today.

    My DH had his results back in 2 days- it wasn't done in his dr's office but in a lab. I really think it depends on the office. Make sure you have the dr explain the results to you, they can be confusing!

    1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
    2nd BFP- July 2011.  Chemical Pregnancy
    3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012.
    4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015

    Thanks ladies! DH is having it done in a lab. Hopefully we will hear something the first of the week. At least he was able to get it done before FW next weekend so we didn't miss any sexy time.

    I will make sure the Dr. explains the results to me and not him otherwise it will be completely lost in translation...lol.

    I will be sure to let you ladies know how it goes!

    They told me it would take 3 days to get the results but we actually got them the same day.  I think that was a fluke though.
