DH and I were watching The Voice last night, and I am starting to have this fascination with the name/sound of Dia. It could be just because she is on Blake Shelton's team, and he is hott! lol We even put it with our definite MN (after family member) and our LN and it all sounds good.

Does anybody know anything about this name? Anybody else like it?

Personally, I would need a mn or some type of hyphen to make this work. Like Dia-Marie. Maybe not a great example but you get the idea.

I wanted to name our daughter Lydia, and call her Dia. H vetoed......

The only thing I know about it is the word "dia" means day in Spanish.
