Hello ladies...I need and want your opinions on this issue we are going through right now...2 months ago, Cadance had a sinus infection with lots of green snot constantly running out of her nose... The doc prescribed an antibiotic and zyrtec. Ok, she went through the first round of antibiotics and still had the green junk coming out of her nose...called the doc and she didn't see her but called in a different antiobiotic...she finished that and still has green stuff but not as often, maybe every 3 days. Well Monday, daycare called and said her temp was nearly 102 so I went and got her, she was soo pitiful. I gave her tylenol to get the fever down, it didn't work too well so I went and got ibuprofin to give her. She isn't eating too much but is drinking good so that is one less worry. I tried to get her back in the doc on Tues but she is out of the country the whole month of June. I took her to urgent care instead and he prescribed keflex for her. No ear infection, no red throat, just this fever, drainage, her not wanting to eat. What concerns me also is for the past week, if I or my mom will touch her legs, she says that they hurt and to stop it. I mentioned this on my FB page and have a lot of people saying that it could be growing pains? I am wondering myself if that is possible in a 2 year old and is it possible to have the flu in June? Im at my wits end and worried about Cadance and need advice please...a flu, growing pains or something different?

Re: DD sick 2+ months now, 3rd antibiotic!
Ditto the allergist, they may try Flonase along with Zyrtec. Also, green snot doesn't always = infection. They can't blow their nose so it turns green from just sitting in their sinuses. Could she be working on her 2 year molars? DS is a mess right now with a slight fever, snot and cough, but I can see them starting to poke through. It's been going on for about 2 months.
DD gets pains in her legs every so often. DH and I both got them bad as children. I give her a little tylenol (about 3/4 of a dose) and that seems to help. A few weeks after, she does seem to shoot up in height.
