Cupcake recipies?

For DD's 2nd birthday we are trying to do a simple BBQ for about 30 people (it is her 1st bday all over again which I did NOT want).  Now that I have so many people coming I do want to jazz up my desserts a bit.  I ordered little monkey fondant toppers for cupcakes from Etsy.  I was going to simply buy store made cupcake and top them but then I had a vision of making banana chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes, and one more fun flavor.  Does anyone know of a good banana cupcake recipie?  Anyone think of a good idea for my third cupcake?

IMO, if I was having a lot of children I would just do a more common simple cupcakes of vanilla, chocolate, confetti, and then the banana as your specialty. If you have a lot more adults then I would add a little more variety into the mix by doing almost like a banana bread cupcake with the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes as the other options. Another idea would be a play on the idea of chocolate covered bananas by doing a chocolate cupcake with banana fused filling. There is a variety of ideas just think outside the box. Maybe share some more of the theme and we could offer some more ideas.
