Will had way less wet diapers than normal today. He's been sitting on the potty a lot and waking up semi-dry from naps for awhile now, but he did not pee on the potty today at all. He had one really wet diaper this morning when he woke up and two that were wet, but not soaked - I only changed him because it'd been awhile since his last change. He did have a dirty diaper and it looked like (TMI) black tar - definitely not "normal" for him. He drank fluids normally (about 10oz of milk + one sippy of half grape juice/half water, and a sippy of water he sipped on all day) and acted normal all day.

He did not sleep well at all last night - I chalked it up to the storm. He's still awake (crying off an on) and has been since bedtime at 8pm. He calms right down when I go in and pat his back and then cries out about 5 minutes later. He doesn't feel warm at all.

    Sounds like it could be an EI. Laying down can cause ear pain and that could be waking him up. DS would do that when je had an EI.

    That's kind of what I was thinking last night..and then the diaper thing threw me off today! I just asked him if something hurt and he said yes and I asked him if he could point to it and he pointed to his knee. *sigh* He's normally good about understanding those kinds of questions, but I'm pretty sure his knee isn't causing all the pain ;)

    how is will this morning? i hope it was just a fluke thing that he didnt have many wet diapers and was having a hard time going to sleep.

    Sorry, just saw this!!

    He seems better this morning. He still didn't have a normal number of wet diapers, but the ones that were wet were really wet. I'm kind of wondering if this is the very beginning stages of potty training?

    His molars are definitely coming in, so I'm going to assume that's why the sleep has been crappy.
