Maybe I have no room to talk- since I am serious lurker over the course of my pregnancy and the last two months (maybe posted 2-3 times total), but I agree.  This seems to be pretty childish behavior directed at someone who was very well liked on this board prior to one post that was taken the wrong way.   I tend to see that those heading it up seem to be "younger" moms, being in my 30's I find this behavior ridiculous.   This board has always been a "judgement free" zone, even from my lurker posisition, but to see people ganging up on Mamabird really makes me sad. 

Well, as one of the "younger" moms (being 24), I actually agree with you. Mamabird was always one of the board favorites and now after one post, everyone is being mean to her? I always liked how the April board didn't have the drama some of the other months did, but I guess not anymore.

 I am also one of the "younger" moms (22).. And I agree - it's childish..

While gardening I wear ... A burlap sack dress that I used to keep the potatoes I harvested last year, a straw hat I sewed myself (my Mexican neighbor taught me how), and just for shitsngiggles my see-thru stripper heels from my college days.

I agree lylalove, i hate being involved in this type of criticism but i have to speak up. You all are so ridiculously bitter. Not to mention your comments make you seem very jealous of another woman or else you would not have such comments. Sad. THe April board used to be a safe place. You've tainted it.

I'm 27 so I'm guessing I qualify as a younger mom too. At the risk of this sounding like a "I feel sorry for your husbands and kids" comment, I sincerely hope they dont let their children behave the way they are. If I found out DS was talking this way about someone I would be appalled.

 

This. As someone who is mostly a "lurker", I have to say that I can't believe how mean some of the moms on here are being to mamabird considering she is someone everyone has always loved before.  Maybe she has a valid point in saying that some of you could be a bad example for your children.  Not necessarily in the self image department, but definitely in regards to how to treat others.  I hope you all get over yourselves before your children are old enough to pick up on your rude and mean spirited behavior.
