I'm sorry but I had to put Nicholas down and let him cry in his crib (praying he doesn't wake up Ava). He didn't nap today and I just want a little downtime before I go to freakin' bed. He cuddled with me for a little while and had fallen asleep (or so I thought) and as soon as I put him down, he started wailing. DH is at work til midnight, so I can't even call in reinforcements. So I had to put him down and just step away.
It has been one long as.s day. Please please please send sleep vibes to Nicholas.
Re: I just want a small break
So sorry.
We've had a rough day, too, and my DH is not here, either...so I feel your pain.
Hope he goes to sleep quickly and rests well and everyone wakes refreshed!
Those days must be going around - DS cried off and on for over an hour (all because he didn't get to tell DD goodnight the way he wanted to), should make for an interesting day tomorrow.
I will see your break, and raise you a glass of wine - mommy's need me time to!
I'm sorry you have been having such a rough time at night. I hope this phase passes soon.
I hope he goes to sleep very soon for you!
(((hugs)))
I've been reading your updates on FB and it breaks my heart that you're having a tough time. Letting him cry is the right thing to do, especially if it's going to keep you from going insane. Why do you think he's having trouble sleeping? 2 year molars? If so, I would bust out the big guns (aka Tylenol) and see if that helps to relax him.
::sending vibes your way::
