I am hoping someone (anyone?!) can help. I have a 14 month old daughter who was a perfect sleeper. At naptimes and at night, we would put her straight in her crib and she would fall to sleep with no problems. I just had a new baby who is now 2 weeks old. I am not sure if this is the issue- but the last three nights, we have put my older daughter down to sleep when she is clearly exhausted and she screams and carries on. We go up and check on her, rub her back, etc and she continues to scream. Not just cry...but scream as though something is hurting her. I am not above letting her cry it out, but its absolutley awful to go thru. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience after bringing a new baby home (although I am not even sure if this is the issue...she doesn't seem to even notice the baby during the day) and if anyone has any ideas to try to help her out.
Re: Sleep HELP!
I would definitely check her teeth & ears out. That's how DS sounds when he is teething or getting an ear infection.
DS' jealousy cry is usually more of a whine, not a full out screaming fit.
