Better than flowers on your Bday...

Doorbell rang and it was a delivery from a fancy local grocery -

My cousin (best friend) sent me an assortment of fine cheeses and crackers! Mmm. She knows me too well. Totally unexpected since she is busy in Baltimore with grad school :)

    What an amazing cousin!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

    My birthday is on Friday.. I just had a five minute pity-party for myself thinking that not one person has asked me what I want for my birthday. It's likely I'm going without gifts this year.. DH and I don't normally exchange gifts, my parents usually forget, and his parents are annoyed with us right now because our DD spent last weekend with my parents instead of them. Le sigh..... I'm just happy to have DH home on Friday to (hopefully) go strawberry picking and celebrate as a little family!
