Hello ladies! I am a certified lurker that has come out of hiding before and I am planning to again. Although, as the title suggests I am a little wary as the board has had an interesting vibe lately. Nevertheless, I am going to start charting next month and I would like to start participating again so people will recognize me and I can ask questions and also give feedback. I have read all the newbie info, TCOYF and every other book I can get my hands on. I have been on birth control for 10 years and am so freaking excited to stop I can hardly contain myself. We will start TTC mid-August but as of tonight I will enjoy my glass of wine. Cheers to starting the journey and getting to know all of you better.

    Welcome and good luck! I'm more of a lurker than a poster too and understand the hesitancy to actually post.  From what I've seen (and FWIW)- the bad vibes are usually because someone purposely is trying to "stir the pot".  Everyone else genuinely seems to want to help out.

    I've stepped on some toes at the beginning, but people are sensitive and sometimes we don't realize it.  Live and learn and grow a thicker skin for yourself.

    The regulars are nice.  I've learned so much from being on here.  So just have fun and don't worry about any vibes.  The essence of this place is still golden.

    Welcome! I'm a newbie, but am rather enjoying my stay here. All the real people are helpful and nice. Anytime you see e-yelling, there's usually a troll or AE involved. It can really be fun to watch!

    Nice to meet someone who is on a similar timeline. From the stories I have read on here I am excited but dreading how my body will react without the hormones. I feel like I might need to come with a warning label! I was on Seasonale for a long time too but have been on Ortho-Cyclen for a year. I reasoned that maybe my body would at least recognize the monthly pattern after going off as opposed to every three months and that's why I switched. I guess we shall soon find out!

    Welcome! And we're not all so bad. Just ignore the stupid people :)

    Yay for being  a good newb lol. You sound like you've done your homework! I think I'm reading right...are you still on BCPs? I feel like I should warn you (because I didn't know this when I stopped mine) that your cycles can get very weird when you stop BC so don't worry; give yourself a few months to 'regulate'. Hopefully you will have waayyy better luck than me and won't have to be here long!
