Glucose Testing-Which flavor?

So I'm going in for my glucose test next week. I've been reading everyone's opinions on other blogs. IF I have the option, should I do the lemon-lime or orange flavor? I love both so I'm just curious if one is more thick than the other? ...I've been dreading this!

I had orange and it wasn't bad at all. Tasted just like orange soda, but flat and more sugar. I've heard from other women that the lemon-lime is horrible. I'd go for orange.

I didn't get a choice with DD (and assume I won't with this one). I had orange and it really wasn't that bad at all. I heard horror stories but like pp said, it tasted like flat orange soda but more surgary.

With my DD, I had a choice of orange or "cola".. Orange was my choice. Just don't take your time sipping on it and it's not as bad.  Be prepared for your LO to start going nuts! The guy next to me was freaking out over my shirt moving from her kicking.

In my experience, and I had taken 3 tests now, the orange is the 1 hour and then for the 3 hour you get a purple one. I have never been given a choice. They both suck, are like 12 oz, and you have 5 minutes to drink it. I would just let them choose.

I didn't have a choice, but the orange wasn't bad.  Tasted like gatorade and they keep it cold.  I had to drink it in 2 minutes and it wasn't an issue.  It wasn't thick at all.

I have always had the orange.  PPs are right- they keep it cold, it isn't thick, and it tastes like sugary, flat orange soda.  Just drink it quickly and get it over with!  GL on your test!

The lab never gave me a choice. With the one hour I had the orange flavor and with the 3 hour they gave me the fruit punch. I don't do well with anything sugary, but it wasn't so bad.

When I tested with DD the woman at the lab told me that most women prefer the orange over the lemon-lime.  I drank the orange.  The one hour orange drink is not too bad, but the three hour drink is horrible.

I've had the fruit punch and the orange.  Both weren't terrible, but I don't tolerate the GTT at all.  The last time I almost passed out at the OB's office.  This time, I will be sent for a nice carb filled breakfast at Denny's, then they will test my glucose.

I've had the orange, lemons lime and fruit punch. If given the option go with the orange. Also, chug. If you stop it just makes it worse.

I had mine today, and I don't think I have ever had anything besides the lemon lime. Tastes just like 7up except it is flat. It really has a light taste, not thick at all!! I always heard about how terrible these tests were and I was really worried for the last one (with DD) but apparently some people just don't have a very good tolerance for this kind of thing because it never phased me (another lady had no complaints with the lemon lime today either) and I passed!! They even apologized for only having the lemon lime today and I said it was fine and I would drink whatever they had available. Just thin of it this way....we are poked with needles, people look at ever "private" part we used to have and seriously, I have drank worse at the bar before I was pregnant.....what's a little sugar drink? Don't worry, you'll be fine

I've had fruit punch, lemon-lime, and orange and I think I prefered the lemon-lime. Just tasted like sugary sprite.

Please not that I was 16 when I had the sprite-flavored kind so any sort of sugary drink was pretty awesome.

I didn't get a choice and I was given the lemon lime.  They had it ice cold for me and it was fine, tasted like sprite.

I'll have to do it again at 28 weeks and I am not dreading it.

Baby B certainly got a sugar buzz from it and was kicking like crazy after drinking it!

I had orange and it was actually pretty good!! It tasted a lot better than the one I had 3 years ago w/dd. That time it was really thick and gross but this time it just tasted like flat orange soda.

When I had the glucose test with my DD, I didn't have a choice, it was orange. But honestly it wasn't that bad, it tasted like someone put too much sugar in their kool-aid. But wasn't so over sweet that I puckered or anything....

I had lemon-lime.  I was dreading it too, but it's really not that bad.  Tastes just like a flat Sprite!

The orange isn't too bad...tastes like tang or gatorade. I have also had the fruit punch flavored and it wasn't too bad either. I didn't like the lemon-lime.
