I'm the one that broke off the realtionship so why is it so easy for exFI to get over me? I'm still mourning the loss of what my life should be like and he's going out every weekend and trying to get with girls. Ugh I guess this is just really a vent. I don't really have any IRL friends so I feel like that makes it harder for me.

Just because he is sleeping around doesn't mean he is over it. It probably means that he isn't. But just the same, there are different ways of embracing the new status as single. He is choosing one way and you are also free to choose your own way (but only to the extent that you can find childcare .

I might be in the sleazy minority here, but I went out and flirted shamelessly, just to make myself feel better. It worked. But I didn't truly 'get over' my ex-wife until I spent some time being single again.

Yah, honestly the first thing I do when I get out of a relationship is go out and flirt.  It reminds me that it can be fun being single.  It doesn't mean I have forgotten my ex.

I totally understand how you feel. Just cause you broke it off doesn't mean your feelings went away. You still care about him. I can't speak for his feelings but I understand how your feeling.
