Question about TT customs

If you are SYOF to TT, do you have to have it on hand before you purchase a slot?  Or do you have 24 hours to purchase something?  I'm a little confused by her instructions.

    You can order it & have it shipped right to her or ship it yourself if you have it in hand.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    YOu can send it to her or have it shipped directly to her. I don't think you have to do it in 24 hours, just let her know you are keeping the spot within 24 hours for the contest ones. If you purchased one in stocking, probably just email her and let her know your plans.

    With my syof custom, it took me a few days to pick out a fabric and get it sent to her. She was fine with that. Your 4-6 week time frame starts when she gets the fabric.
