How do you do this? I've seen lots of posts referring to using them, but I am not quite sure of the logistics. We got one for James for Christmas and have yet to use it, both because he doesn't really have the attention span to watch anything longer than a 3-minute youtube video but also because I'm not quite sure how to use it in the car.
Do you strap it to the back of the front seat somehow? Or have a special case? Or does your DC just hold it? I think James would probably toss it eventually if we just gave it to him to hold, or he'd want to press all the buttons.
Thanks!
Re: Using portable DVD player in the car?
Mine is built in to my car- so since DD is rear facing still she can't watch it. I know they do make some sort of thing to attach a portable one to the headrest, I would just make sure it's very secure- in an accident that could become a flying object and hurt your LO, and I certianly would not let LO hold it for the same reason.
