Trying to Get Pregnant

I'm a bad TTGP-er.

I have been TTC for 11 months total (i.e. over three kids) and yet I didn't know that the cheese brie was not good for pregnant women. And of course, yesterday I ate about four bites of brie (to try something new, which is rare for me).

I'm only 9DPO, I don't even know if I'm pregnant yet. I know there's nothing I can do about it now, but how awful was it that I ate brie yesterday?

  • As long as the brie was pasteurized you are totally fine. Most likely it was considering the US has a law that all cheese must be pasteurized to be sold. No worries :)

  • most American cheeses are pasturized, you're fine.  Plus, its not a concern during the 2ww.  Its only a concern during pg because of listeria.  But I ate cheese and deli meat while pg,  I was never worried about it.
