Anyone TTC #2+?

How long did it take you for #1 (or 2, 3, etc.)  What are you expecting this time?

It took us one cycle for DD and I have no idea what to expect for this time.  It was a complete surprise for us last time around!

It took 6 mos/4 cycles for #1.  Right now we're on 12 months/9 cycles.

#1 took us 2 cycles (not avoiding but not charting)

#2 took us one cycle (charting post IUD)

It took 3 cycles for both DD and DS.

I am on cycle 3 now (of well-timed intercourse) for this one. I'm hoping the third time's the charm for me!

DD was a surprise, she was conceived while trying to avoid.

BFP #2 took 11 months, sadly it ended in a M/C.

Here I am, 1 year after the m/c and still not pregnant, but hopefully our luck is about to change!

The first time I got pregnant was a surprise and I was on birth control (although admittedly kind of bad at remembering to take it) but sadly, I had a miscarriage. I had one period between the miscarriage and getting pregnant with our son. We weren?t trying to get pregnant again but weren?t preventing. Hoping it?s just as easy this time! Guess we?ll know soon since we are officially starting TTC in July!

We're TTC #3 this summer.  Our first two were pleasant surprises- we weren't trying but weren't avoiding too well either.  It was nice to not have to think about it too hard and just get pregnant.  This is our first month TTC and DH and I are already a little edgy!

DS we weren't trying but weren't avoid...if it happens it happens type of thing. I stopped taking my pill in february (was told I would need help to get pregnant *multiple large cysts on ovaries--but no PCOS diagnosis, so I stopped taking a pill that was useless *or so we thought*) and got pregnant in August. So technically it took 6 months, but I wasn't charting, temping, or anything.

I'm on cycle one this time around and hope I get a BFP quickly, although I'm not holding my breath on anything.

With DD it took us 2 cycles (2 months). We didn't chart or use OPKs. 

Now ttc #2 and this is our third cycle (4 months). My cycles are all over the place so I'm expecting it to take longer this time around.

We hit # 1 and #2 first month of trying, but # 2 ended in a miscarriage.  If we don't hit it this month I know I'll be disappointed!

For DS #1 it took three months ttc, for DS#2 it took one month. This time around I am just beginning month number 4, but experienced a m/c month number 2.

We got pregnant on cycle #1 for our DS, but in a way that makes this first cycle trying for #2 a lot more pressure. I know the odds are slim to get that lucky twice, so I am trying to relax about it with little success. At 12DPO today and that is when I got my BFP last time, and this time so far a BFN with temps starting to head south so sitting tight but preparing myself for cycle #2. Just try to remember each pregnancy is different and the amount of time getting there may be too. :-)

#1 - 2 months, (1 month blind, second month BD EOD)

#2 - been trying since Jan 2011, MC on March 20, CP on May 15, and hoping we get lucky soon!!! Decide to temp & use CBEFMto help facilitate the process!! (And to think, I thought #2 would be just as easy - how wrong we were!!)

DD was a surprise and we've been trying for about 4 months.  I'm thinking I'll get KU around the 6 month of trying, but we will see.

I got pregnant with DD the first month we actively tried (charted).

This is our first month actively trying for #2.

Number 1 for us was a surprise as well, but we just started TTC#2 last night, but I think we missed my cycle for this month So July 12-16th is roughly my new cycle.. but we will see what happens!

I just got off my IUD, so hopefully this it will happen in one Cycle like you!

We got pregnant with DS on the first cycle "trying" (basically just frequent unprotected sex) and this is cycle #2 TTC #2.

This is also how I felt. I knew it was not likely that I would get a BFP in the first cycle a second time, but I guess it was in the back of my mind because when AF showed up, I found it very disappointing.

We're TTC #2 and on cycle 5.  I thought it could take longer this time since I'm still BFing.

DS was conceived during our first cycle trying.

We are currently on our second cycle of really trying. This will be my first full cycle of using Opk's and having sex at least EOD.

For DD, I was off BCP and charting for 3 months prior to my BFP but it was the first month we didn't use condoms so technically 1st month trying.  

Just started TTC #2 this month...still haven't O'd yet (I usually have O'd by now)...not sure what's going on, but chalking it up to being recently off BCP. I hope I regulate soon!

8 cycles for DD.

I haven't gotten AF yet (I'm still EBF) so I'm not really counting cycles yet for #2.
